Upload Media Group Announces the 2024 Iowa Podcast Awards
Full-Day Event Aims to Celebrate Iowa-Based Podcasts and Stories
Cedar Rapids, IA: Upload Media Group, a podcasting and digital content company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, announces the Iowa Podcast Awards, a full-day event that aims to “Celebrate, Elevate, and Unify the Podcasters of Iowa”. The event, which takes place on Sunday, September 15th at various locations throughout the New Bohemia District of Cedar Rapids, will present live podcasts at CSPS, workshops for new and experienced podcasters, and networking events all day long before concluding with the big awards show at The Olympic Theater that evening.
Event tickets are on sale now and feature an early bird discount, bringing the cost down from $50 to $35 per ticket. This ticket provides access to all day-of events. Additionally, submissions are now open to active podcasts for award consideration and, with over 30 different awards available, there are categories for every type of show. Submissions for Show Recognition Awards (which are designed to celebrate the entire show) and Talent Recognition Awards (designed to celebrate the individuals who work on the shows) cost $25 to submit to.
